Bio-Signal Group Co. has been selected as one of the 10 winners of PILOT Tech health NYC to receive a total of $100K to launch the microEEG® platform in the Emergency Department (ED) of New York Methodist Hospital. This disruptive technology utilizes disposable electrodes and a network of teleneurologists to provide a rapid, remote interpretation of an EEG to an ED physician. BSG receives a 2 year $600K grant award

August, 2012

BSG receives a 2 year $600K grant award from the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health & Human Development to conduct clinical trials of its microEEG® System in neonatal ICUs. The trials will be conducted at the State University of New York/Downstate Medical Center/University Hospital of Brooklyn, the Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center, and the Long Island College Hospital. Project Title: Wireless Novel MicroEEG for Neonatal Apnea and Community Neurological Network.

BSG selected for the Platform Session at the 10th European Congress on Epileptology

BSG has been selected for the Platform Session at the 10th European Congress on Epileptology (ECE) in London to present clinical data on the usefulness of EEG incorporation in the workup of patients presenting to the emergency department with altered mental status. The BSG presentation will be on Tue, Oct 2, 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM while the 10th ECE-London 2012 runs September 30 – October 4.
